Change is HEER in Wards 2 & 6
Thank you to my Family, Friends, Supporters, Voters, Neighbours & Loved Ones,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your words of encouragement, loyalty, dedication and support during my run for City Council in the Municipal elections on Oct 25th, 2010.
While 1646 votes was not enough for a win, it was a pretty decent number nonetheless as it served as a great starting point.
I am especially proud of the efforts by my team members who worked this grassroots campaign in an honest, honourable and respectable fashion. It was my goal from the beginning to run a clean campaign and that was the foundation we stood by till the very end.
People from many diverse groups came to help me win and I thank each and every one of you.
I congratulate John Hutton on his win, and as I have mentioned in all of my debates and televised speaking engagements, I respect Councillor Hutton for his 25 years of dedication and service to the Brampton community and I look forward to working with him in the coming days to assist in any way possible.
Going forward, with or without a title, I promise to continue to serve the community as I have the past 2 decades.
That is my committment to you, the people of Brampton.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if you wish to discuss how we can make Brampton a better city.
I look forward to your continued support in the coming years.
With best regards,
Urz Heer
